The Broadband Tax Institute (BTI) is a non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to educating and promoting the exchange of information related to tax issues and developments associated with the telecommunications industry.

Thank you for your interest and desire to be part of the Broadband Tax Institute. We believe your association with our tax professionals will be beneficial for you and your business. If you have any questions that cannot be answered within our site, or have ideas to help improve its effectiveness, please feel free to Contact Us.

Membership is open to employees and consultants of cable, satellite, telephone and Internet companies. We also welcome participation by State and Regional associations.

BTI's track record of harnessing and disseminating the continuously evolving knowledge and experience of seasoned professionals across the Broadband industry makes BTI an invaluable resource for anyone needing to stay current with telecommunications tax issues and top tax professionals dealing with them. In order to promote honest and open communication about legal and tax issues, the Board of Directors carefully screens all applicants and reserves the right to deny membership to non-qualified candidates.

BTI membership is comprised of members and associates. Employees of cable, satellite, telephone and Internet companies are considered members with the right to vote on all matters related to BTI and its purposes. Consultants are afforded rights of membership except voting rights and are referred to as associates.

Membership with BTI is on an individual basis. Annual calendar dues are $175 and a $100 one-time initiation fee applies to new members. Members receive an annual membership directory and discounted registration fee to the Annual Conference.
